At a small temple located on the topmost summit of this Mullayanagiri peak, the TapasviMullappa Swami observed meditation here in the cave. There are about 200 species of birds that reside during the migratory season. Camping is not allowed here without the permission of a forest official. Hikers need to return before sunset.
