After India’s less satisfactory performance in the Rio Olympic, it’s time for the Paralympic team of the great nation. 125 crore Indian‘s eyes are on Paralympic Team in Rio. After the amazing performance from the Mariyappan Thangavelu and Varun Singh Bhatti who won gold and bronze respectively in their sports event Deepa Malik
Deepa Malik becomes the first Indian lady in the Paralympic event that clinched a medal. Deepa is paraplegic, paralyzed from the waist down. She is the wife of an army officer and her father is also an Army man. She is also associated with Himalayan Motorsports Association (H.M.A) and Federation of Motor Sports School Clubs of India (F.M.S.C.I). She has driven 1700km to the negative temperature which is quite adventures. Her disability never holds her back from adventures. She was also Arjuna awardee 2012. By achieving so much she is role model to the Youth and other disabled people. She is the best example of courage and bravery. She proved the facts that if you are determined to achieve anything and do hard work nothing can stop you.
